Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
TMS is a non-invasive non-drug treatment for several mental health ailments, particularly depression. TMS uses powerful magnets (about the same strength as an MRI) to stimulate the neurons in certain parts of the brain known to affect mood and behavior.
The patient experiences very little or no discomfort during the 35-minute treatment, as they relax in what looks very much like a dentist's chair. Multiple treatments (usually 5-30) are necessary to achieve the desired effect. Many of our patients who have been suffering from depression for many years have begun to feel markedly better after only a couple of treatments.

We offer medication management for ages 4 years old and up. This service is available from Monday to Friday at 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. We accept many insurances and offer self-pay and sliding scale rates.
